Garden of Dreams

The drifting of fallen petals

Carried upon the cool breeze,

Past the fading shadows

Out and amidst honeybees.

A sweet melody

Whispering to the shy flowers,

With their scents dripping honey

And petals lush with colour.

Fragile, delicate blossoms

Tiny violets scattered around,

Angelic lilacs and divine roses

Tinkling bluebells on the ground.

The silken touch of life

Glowing beneath the sun,

A little bit of magic so fine

A miracle overdone.

Past the soft glow of light

Gentle laughter carried by the breeze

The silken touch of life

Illuminating this garden of dreams.
