The Girl with No Name
The girl with no name
sits in a dark corner all alone
and it's all the same
and no one's home
to hear her scream and cry
out in anger and despair
and the voices in her head tell her why
her life's so unfair:
a life filled with teasing and self-mutilation
that no one ever seems to notice
all the problems in her situation
and they take no notice
when she retreats to her room
one last time, and she lies in bed,
overpowered by her gloom,
content with the thought that in the morning she'll be dead.
