I'm standing here alone right now
Not really sure what to do
I can feel the other people staring
It must be odd to them

I look up at the stars and feel the rain on my face
I love the rain
So clear and pure
I feel it wash away it all
The worries, the pain
To me, you are the rain
And when the rain falls….

I feel and arm around me
And a hand closes over my eyes
I hear a whisper in my ear
"Guess who?" it says
I feel my heart soar
I turn, and sure enough, there you are

My rain, my clear and lovely rain
Always there when I need you
Soothing my whole soul
How do you always know?
How do you always know when I need you the most?
It's odd, just like you

My odd rain, wrapping your arms around me
Let the people stare
I want them to know
To know that I love my rain

There is no other to me
Only the clear and loving rain
