Pull my thoughts from a hole so dark

That for fear of flame, a fire will spark.

Mold my face to match your pain

Numb from cold, blurred from rain.

Tie me up to set me free

Hold me down to let me be

Send me here to forget my face

Show me off – then leave this place.
