Chapter 3
I was still fuming from yesterday evening. How could he just say something like that and then leave so abruptly. I didn't even get time to come around to my senses and question him. This was definitely not a time where he should walk away from me. HE IS SO ANNOYING!
Searching the whole damn school I finally found him in the library of all places. The one place that was more my haven than his. Had the world gone completely mad? I stormed up to him and slammed the books that I was carrying onto the desk he was sat at, totally out of character may I add. I'm really a good girl at heart.
"What the hell Collins!?" Yeah, my temper seemed to be handling the situation fine and it really was the least of my worries at that point. I crossed my arms in front of my chest to mainly stop them grabbing him and shaking him with all the force I could manage. Not that that would have been much. Instead, I decided glaring was the much safer and more appropriate option.
"Oh, I thought I'd find you here Taylor. I was just thinking this hellhole would be the exact kind of place that you would hang out in." His trademark smirk soon made an appearance. Oh no he did not just insult the one place in the school that I love very dearly, did he?
"Collins!" I shouted so loudly. Oh dear. That was definitely the worse idea yet.
"Miss Taylor I thought you of all people should know." I followed the librarian's finger to the sign that read 'SILENT WORK ONLY' "I think you should and your friend should pick up your things and leave immediately." She huffed. Does my loyalty count from nothing in this place? I always knew that woman was evil.
As I picked up my books I heard Kyle snigger behind me. That just made it worse. He wanted this to happen. And I was letting him do this. I swear his sole purpose was to humiliate me and turn everyone against me. He is evil too.
But there was no time for all of this nonsense I needed to get down to the bottom of this. As we walked into the corridor I took a few deep breaths and reminded myself that it wasn't his fault that he was a retard.
"Ok. I'm going to speak clearly and slowly so you understand. What the fudge was the whole yesterday thing?" My tone was surprisingly calm. Interesting. Note to self I can act pretty well when I want to.
He leaned back against a bunch of 11th grade lockers trying to act 'hot'. This was wasted as the only person around was me. Too bad for him. "Hmm…I'm assuming that you want to say 'how did you know that I happen to have a crush on Lee?' Am I right?" He put his finger on his chin as if he was trying to solve a really hard problem and raised his eyebrows. Damn he knew how to act just as well. Why did he have to be so infuriating? He knew very well that that was the exact reason that I came looking for him.
At this point my acting skills flew out of the none-existent window. "YES! That is exactly what I am talking about!" Whoops the calm approach was lost to my temper again.
"Truthfully its hard not to miss. You drool every time you're around him. I'm surprised there is never a pool of saliva on the floor when you see him." He was actually chuckling to himself. The jerk.
But then I had a thought. If Kyle said I was drooling I must have been drooling. I can't believe that I literally drool when I'm around him. This is bad. Oh so very bad. I guess he must have seen the look of horror on my face so he thought he'd add just a bit more. "Oh, and the fact that I over heard Maddie and Junior talking about it."
My first thought was obviously KILL JUNIOR!
But my second was worse. Was Kyle going to tell?
He seemed to be reading my thoughts at this point. "I won't tell…even help you, if you do me a favour" What is it? Would it really be worth it? I was very much intrigued.
"Basically to cut a long story short. Candice broke up with me. And she wants Lee to be her next target. No girl and I mean no girl ever breaks up with me. That's not going to happen with our interference."
"Ok…What do you want me to do?"
"Simple. Go out with me." I did a double take. Did I hear him right? What in the world has this got to do with keeping Lee and Candice apart?
"What? No! What are you on?" The thought of us going out with each other was just too horrible to comprehend.
"If Candice sees us together she'll realise that she is missing out and she'll want me back. And if Jamie hears me talking about how great you are he'll want you. It's a win-win situation. And the fact that I have something on you if you don't do it." He tried to rationalise with me.
"You of all people are whipped with a girl?"
He sighed but didn't answer. Instead he repeated the question. "Taylor, will you do it?"
I don't know. It sounds too far fetched to work. Question is how much do I want Lee?

I had exams for the last month and I really need to do well in them. Hope u all forgive me. In chapter 2 I made some mistakes with kyle and lee. So if u wanna go back and check the chapter if u were confused feel free.
