I ate the puppies, a mouthful of joy

There so cute, each a fuzzy little toy

Savoring the flavor, musical to my ears

Lighting my cooking fire, I relish their fears

With my knife, I slice open terror of the heart

These six yapping nuisances are not very smart

Their blank eyes, reflect my empty plate

I think I shall spear their heads on the gate

And with happiness drink their blood at the full moon

Ah, yes I shall enjoy this delicacy and be immortal soon

note to the concerned: i didn't actually eat the puppies.
