The open window invites an icy breeze,

Announcing the arrival of the season I hate most.

Cold, made even worse by the absence of your touch,

Your scent lingers on these pillows,

A constant reminder of how much

I really need you.

Icicles will form on this window,

From which I watched you drive away.

The snowflakes might as well be

Running down my snow-white cheeks,

Remembering how they were red and flushed,

When I was with you.

My fingers all have frost bite,

They'll fall off without your hand to hold.

Even the warmest of my blankets

Can't save me from this inner cold.

My hearts covered in black ice,

I hope you'll slip and fall back to me,

Cuz I'm frozen.
