This is the second part of a trilogy I am writing, so for those of you who haven't read 'A Question of Survival', it might be useful to do that first. This story should be readable as a single book, but background knowledge is always useful. The first book isn't that bad, either. Lots of action and suspense, and too many cliffhangers.

Anyway, I'll stop wittering. This story takes off a few weeks further on from where the last one left you. Kiv is now an Assistant Trainer to the martial arts instructor at the Army Training Academy, and is not pleased about it.
