There's No Shame in Moonlit Dances

There's no shame in moonlit dances,

Cause times like that are ours.

And when in darkness doubts subside,

We'll meet beneath the stars.

When fireflies hang down from skies,

In lullabies of night,

Where with the sun on Blackbird's Run,

They glisten in the light,

When all about the boundless field,

The June bugs start to cry,

And we can sing of gilded wing,

And dragons in the sky,

When all the mirth of summer's eve,

Is carried in our songs,

And so, the whirling melody,

Is just where it belongs,

When there's no shame in moonlit dances,

'Cause times like that are ours,

So when in darkness doubts subside,

We'll meet beneath the stars.
