Turn off the lights and you're surrounded in darkness.
Representing the road of life you take.
Where is your path?
You can't find it.
We bump along,
Trying to avoid pits and falls.
We never know our outcome.
We scramble for a bit of light,
Just so we can see.

Turn on the lights and there it is,
All we've been searching for.
Enlightenment, safety, savior, sanctuary.
A place of peace and belonging.
You clearly see your road now.
You can now avoid all the bumps and pitfalls.
But unfortunately for us,
Once we find this light,

You're already done.
