I see the fire in her eyes
The sand in her hair
She tells me she was just p:l:a:y:i:n:g
(But I know she was with him)

---

I see the g l o w of her skin
(Beautiful and Bold)
The shine to her hair
(Dark and Golden)

She is my goddess
(Yet she is not mine)

---

I see her glitter-streaked tears

(from her face)

She says she doesn't need my help
Because she doesn't have a problem
(But I know she does)

Her b l a c k -–a n d— b l u e (skin)
Haunts my darkest dreams
I see him with a knife
And then she is /g/o/n/e/
(But it was only a dream. Nothing more)

---

She drinks alone in the alleyways
(trying to forget reality in a drunken haze)
All alone is all she knows
(But she is not alone)

I see her s.m.i.l.e.
I see her >laugh>
(But it was only a dream)

I see her body

Get swept away by cold ocean waters
There is no fire in her eyes
There is only seaweed and blood in her hair

She said she didn't need my help…she didn't have a problem
(But I know she was with him)

A/N: I'm not sure where this came from. In this poem, I tried experimenting with different effects on the text. Let me know what you think! I need a better title too….
