I took a deep drag on my cigarette as I stood there waiting, just waiting. I wasn't waiting for anyone special...just whoever was going to come my way. I adjusted my skirt making it shorter then it already was and causing it to rest against the tops of my thighs. I rested back against the outside of the bar and watched the hustle and bustle of the street.
The air was stale and heavy with cold. I felt like I had been here for hours where I had only been here for barely half an hour. I got a few looks but I knew they were just wondering how much I would do. I only do what I'm asked...and if you've got the cash to back it up.
Have you figured out what I am yet? Well for those that naive I'm a hooker or prostitute to sound professional. I'm not like all hookers though. I'm a fifteen-year-old hooker. I bet none of you expected that one. Well I'm not exactly legal but what can you do? I've been a hooker for the better part of a year now. I turn sixteen in a little under a month.
I'm what they would call an "Illegal Alien". I'm from the outskirts of Spain. It surprises me how much people can get away with in America. It completely amazes me.
The life a hooker may not be glamorous but hey I'm the only fifteen year old I know ranking in about ten thousand a night. Sure I've been robbed of the things that I wanted, a life, a family, my virginity, some of the things that I'll probably never see in my lifetime.
My eyes adjusted to the darkness again as the blinding lights of a car crossed my path. I blinked and put my hand to my forehead. I took out my compact and looked at the reflection staring back at me. My long light brown hair and deep brown eyes popped out at me, even through the black eyeliner and mascara. My pale skin had darkened since I had gotten here. I wasn't as pale virgin snow white any longer. My skin was still creamy as ever but at least I had some color to it.
I stared at the face that had made many men happy when they left me. Part of me was ashamed of what I did but I didn't let that stop me. It was either live or die and I chose the first choice. I put the compact away and shifted my jacket a little. I unzipped the zipper half way and exposed my full and plumb young breasts.
I watched a man walk up to me and I smiled. He came in close and I could smell the cigarettes and alcohol on his breath. He had black hair and outstanding light blue eyes that screamed at you. "How much are you?" He asked putting his hand against the wall of the bar and cornering me against it. I wasn't scared I was used to men like this. I smiled brightly at him and licked my full lips.
"Well how long do you want me for?" I asked putting my hand to my hip. He stared down at me with this body melting smile. He was handsome I'll admit but I'd had many handsome men. None of them fazed me at all.
"Two hours." He said putting his hand in his back pocket, looking for his wallet probably.
"Two hours will cost you nine." I said my face going serious as I discussed my money. "If you don't like it then you can go to one of the others." I said turning back to the street. I flicked my cigarette into the street.
"No I want you. I'll pay you. Money isn't a problem." He said pulling out his wallet. "If you're any good after two hours then I'll decide whether I want you for another hour." He smiled at me and I could see the term bastard coming to mind.
"Alright. I need the cash up front though. No cash no me." I said putting my hand out.
He smiled again and pulled out the nine hundred. I smiled and put the money in the pocket of my mini-skirt. "There's a lot more where that came from if you do what I want." He said his smile gone.
"Whatever you want." I said smiling and taking his hand. He led me back to his car and he drove off. I sat in the passenger seat not talking. If he wanted to talk then he'd start.
"What's your name?" He asked looking over at me as he stopped for a red light.
"Angel. But don't pay attention to the name." I said smiling. I crossed my legs in front of me and turned my body towards him. He smiled at me and he seemed relaxed. I looked at the ring on his left hand. "Can I ask you a question?" I murmured as I looked back up at his face.
"That depends if I have to pay for you to talk." He said smiling.
"No you don't have to pay. I was just wondering why you would go to a hooker instead of your wife?" I asked and looked at the ring again.
He moved his left hand off the wheel and put it in his lap. "It's complicated." He said and I knew that he didn't want to go on.
"Alright." I said and stared back out the window.
He finally stopped the car and rolled up the windows. I looked around and noticed that we were in a dark alleyway. "This is it." He said pushing up the arm rests so that nothing was between us.
My insides squirmed. Even though I had been a hooker for a year having to do this always made me scared and nervous.
He looked over at me and smiled. I heard the zipper on his jeans being pulled down and I trembled. I heard the button pop and I looked over at him. I smiled putting on a brave face. He put his hand on the back of my neck and guided me down. I let him push me down. I closed my eyes to the world and left into blackness.
I wiped my mouth as I got out of the car and stood next to it. I leaned against the car and smiled at the man before him. He was disheveled and he looked exhausted. "Bitch you're perfect." He said smiling at me. He handed me an extra thousand. I had been here for four hours. I knew that I wasn't going to stay for only the first two hours.
I handed him a business card, yes hookers have business cards. What do you expect? The guys have to get a hold of us sometime. My cell phone number was on it. I told him to call me anytime he was feeling generous. "I'll see ya around Bitch." He said and pulled away.
I leaned against the alley wall and breathed deeply. I closed my eyes and sighed. Bitch...I had always hated that word. I shivered in the cold air and began walking back to my post. I ignored the calls asking me how much as I walked back. I wouldn't answer any booty calls until I got back to my post. I saw the bar in my vision and I was glad.
I leaned back against the outside walls again and lit another cigarette. I chewed on my lip as the cigarette dangled from my fingertips. I looked over to my left and noticed a group of guys coming my way. They couldn't have been any older then eighteen. I hung my head as one of them came closest to me.
"Hey sexy are you looking for a date?" The first one of the group asked me. He was six foot four and I had to look up at him. "Just me. You don't have to worry about the younger ones. Just me." He said again and I looked at the "younger ones" who weren't young at all, maybe a year younger then this guy.
My eyes stopped on a boy who looked a little older then I was. He was...what's that word...oh punk. He had black pants with chains and zippers all over them, red t-shirt that said "stop reading my t-shirt", and black converse sneakers. What really caught me were his eyes. They were brown like mine but they held warmth and a softness that I had never noticed before in anyone. He was looking at me and I could see it, pity. That's what he held in his eyes. He felt pity for something like me? That was a laugh.
"What's your name?" I asked him and he pointed to himself. I smiled. "Yeah you." I said moving towards him and ignoring the front man.
"My name is Sam." He said looking a little afraid of me. I smiled at him.
"Don't worry I'm not coming onto you." I said smiling. "You in a band?" I asked pointing down to the guitar case in his hand. He looked down at the case like it had only just appeared in his hand.
"Oh yeah. This is the band." He said gesturing around him at the group.
"Oh." I said and looked around at them. They were all young and seemed to be full of life. I smiled at them and looked back at Sam.
"Excuse me you didn't answer my question. I'm the paying customer." the front man said to me and I swiveled around to look at him.
"Oh sorry I got side tracked by your attractive guitar player." I said smirking.
"Well I'm the lead singer. I can do a lot more then sing." He said smiling down at me. He handed me a few hundred and I shook my head.
"I cost four fifty an hour." I said pushing the money back into his hand. His eyes widened at me. "What you though I was cheap?" I asked putting my hands on my hips.
"To tell you the truth I thought that you were only worth a hundred." He said putting the money back into his pocket.
"Well you go and find a whore for a hundred. I'm sure your search will be long and hard." I said coldly and turned back to Sam.
"Hey guys just leave her alone." Sam said and I smiled. "I've got her tonight." He said putting his hand on my elbow. "Come on." He said walking me away from the group.
We walked down the block, completely away from the bar. "Hey! Wait a minute I get my money up front." I said stopping and pulling my elbow out of his hand. I looked up at him and licked my lips.
"I only said that so I could get you away from those guys. It's like some kind of weird tradition that they have. Every night a few hours before a gig they go out and find a hooker. They say that it gets them pumped to go up on stage." Sam pushed the hair out of my eyes and I blushed. Wait me blushing wow he must be something.
I smiled and chewed on my lip. "Sorry for the blow out before." I said sounding genuinely sorry. "I'm just used to guys coming on to me I guess." I said looking up at him. "I guess you better go back to the band then. I've got to get back to work." I said and went to turn away from him.
"Wait. Would you like to have dinner with me? We could go and get something to eat right now." He said touching my arm lightly, in a comforting gesture. "I'll pay you if you want me to." He said going into his back pocket and I stopped him.
"You don't have to pay me to go get something to eat. I'll come. You just have to lead the way." I said smiling at him as he led me back to his car. I hopped into the passengers seat and watched as he went around and got in.
"I've got to back in about three hours. So we'll just relax." He said slipping on his belt. I nodded.
"Sounds good. I'll even watch you perform." I said smiling and relaxing into the seat.
A few hours later we were coming out of a burger joint. His arm was around my waist and I was smiling from ear to ear. Talking with Sam was the best time that I had ever had. In the beginning I could tell that he was shy but as time went on he has loosened up.
We walked back to the car and he held the door open for me like a gentlemen. I smiled at him and waited for him to get into the car. He got into the seat next to me and as if on cue it started to pour. I giggled and looked over at Sam. He didn't have to be at the bar until an hour later so he said that we could just drive around. "Maybe we should just sit here for a few minutes. I love the sound of rain." I said smiling up at him.
He smiled at me and moved my hair away from my eyes. "You're beautiful." He said staring down at me. I blushed and I knew he could see it.
"I'm just a hooker." I said looking away.
"No you're not. You may be a hooker but that doesn't stop you from being beautiful." He said brushing his thumb over the skin on my cheek. "You really are an Angel. You're name is what you are." He said looking down at me.
I was trembling and I couldn't stop. What he was saying was going through me like fire. I was hanging on his every word like I needed him. I moved closer to him and shivered. His lips were so close and yet I couldn't push myself to touch them with my own. I felt like I would make him dirty or tainted if I kissed him.
"Do you want to kiss me?" He asked staring down at me.
"I don't want to make you dirty with me." I said staring up at him.
"You're not dirty...you're beautiful." He said and moved closer to me.
I closed my eyes and held my breath. His lips pressed mine and I felt like my body had exploded. Fire works were going off in my head. I felt like my body was burning from his kiss but I wanted more. I touched his cheek with my palm and he rubbed his hand down my side and to my waist. I started to pull at his clothes but he stopped me. He pulled away from me shaking his head.
"I don't want you just for your body." He said and my lower lip trembled. I pulled away and looked out the window. No matter what I did I couldn't stop being a whore.
"I'm sorry it's just that something usually happens when men kiss me. I'm sorry I couldn't control what I was doing. I guess I am just a whore. That's all I know." I hung my head shaking.
"You're not a whore." He turned my head towards him and stared at my moist eyes. "You're an angel. You have just been push off your path." He said smiling down at me.
