Predicament

I see you walking down the hall
Glaring straight at me.
But when I meet those hazel eyes,
You simply turn away
Acting as though you never looked this way.

The next time you see me,
You do it all over again.

You think I'm so oblivious
That I'm completely unaware.
What you don't know is that I'm conscious
Of what you wish to say,
And to tell you the truth, I feel the same way.

Later when we collide
There's a spark of conversation.

You're just the person I thought you were
And a whole lots more.
Never furious, always gracious
With every gray and every prey,
You leave people in great dismay.

Turns out we can glide
Through the rough times.

If we find our certain someone,
We can end this splendid play.
