Green

Green,

Never fought before.

Green,

Never seen grown men

Die before.

Never watched as

The grass is slowly dyed red,

Pooled with the blood of

Knights and once beautiful steeds,

Blood of both sides.

Green,

He cannot see victory for either side.

Why fight for land,

If wounding the enemy

Dyes once green, fertile land

A horrid, browning burgundy.
