Love, A Terminal Illness

Terminal love. Tragic love or love affair?

Maybe we can settle this,

We'll seal our death with one last kiss.

I know this love is more than true,

I'd live and breath and die for you.

Tragic love or just affair?

They don't know how much we care.

Star-crossed love never seemed so real,

No words could describe how you make me feel.

This love is a terminal illness,

How did we find ourselves in this?

It's infectious, raw and deep.

Yet it lays us to our gentle sleep.

So if this is really our last night,

It seems that fait never felt so right.

We'll lay together in love or sin,

Sit and let the disease sink in.

Love is what's killing me and you,

After all the things that we've been through.

It seems so sweet in it's disguise.

It leads us blindly to our demise.

Without a sound,

We'll fall down.

Hand in hand and heart to heart,

As this love tears us apart.

Star-crossed love never seemed so real,

No words could describe how you make me feel.

I know this love is more than true,

I'd live and breath and die for you.

Love, a terminal illness.
