From a very early point humans started breaking free of Nature. Driven by a more advanced brain than most other creatures that walked the earth, we were able to understand the workings of Nature. And so discovered fire to warm ourselves during those harsh winters and, reasons unknown to us at that point, cook our food to make it safer to eat. This principle point in our evolution was the first step in which we harnessed a power, destructive to nature, for our own benefit and has occurred a thousand times over ever since then.

However, within Nature we had discovered something under the surface. It was the reason why the birds singing in the trees sounded so beautiful to our ears; it was the reason why we could look out over the horizon, watching a setting sun and feel occupied by a sensation of the divine. This divine power we called God. It was a whisper of something immense, something that we could not understand with our advanced brains but could feel deep down inside. In a place we called our Soul.
