"Devvy! Breakfast time!! Devin's mom chimed. Devin's blue eyes slowly started opening to the bright sunlight coming from the open window, when she realized that she was waking up in her bed…safe.

"Was that all a…a dream?" Devin thought out loud as she started rubbing her sweating forehead.

"C'mon, Devvy! We have to go down to the Wild All You Can Eat Buffet! See? It's right here in the hotel brochure, it says if we come down to breakfast at 8:00 then we get 50 off all buffet items! And now its 7:45, so if you get ready now, we"

"I don't care, mom!" yelled Devin annoyed. She got out of bed and went to go take a shower. She got in letting the warm water soothe her. She took the shampoo bottle to wash her hair as she squirted the shampoo into her hand, her hand was covered in blood. She started to inspect her body noticing her whole body was drenched in it. She started to panic, looking up to the shower spout drops of blood sprayed into her eyes.

"HOLY CRAP!!" screamed Devin from the shower.

"Oh my god!!! It's blood!" Devin cried as she ran out of the shower terrorized to her mom.

"Oh goodness, what's blood!?!" her mom exclaimed rushing to where Devin was.

"Blood in the shower there was bloodcomming coming down on me not my blood!" Devin stuttered. Devin's mom went to the shower and inspected it.

"Honey, the shower has no trace of blood in it." She said as she turned on the faucet.

" Sweetie, there isn't any blood coming out of here. Sure, the waters a little brown, but…no blood." Her mom said walking away.

oOoOo

Devin sat down at the breakfast table with her blue eyes wide open.

"What's wrong? You look like you just saw a ghost," said Wess chuckling resting his tanned head on his hand.

"Huh? Oh! Ha...ya." Devin Stammered.

"You're acting a little strange sweet heart, I must admit." Said Jonathon, Devin's dad.

"Uh huh Yeah…I'm, uh, just gonna, uh, go…um… outside." Said Devin as she pushed out of her chair which made a loud screeching noise across the wooden floors.

Devin was outside pacing back and forth, trying to get it together when she noticed a candy apple red navigator pull up into the parking lot of the hotel.

"Finally! Some more people!" sighed Devin in relief.

She could see a family get out of the car. From what she saw, she thought they were nothing special. But then, she saw a boy get out of the car. The boy had brown hair and light greenish blue eyes…great combination. He was looking all around looking as if he were confused. Then, his beautiful eyes fixed upon Devin. Devin was staring straight into his eyes as he was looking in to hers. Devin could feel her face turn the same shade as the navigator. She turned her head…but the boy kept staring. The family started walking towards Devin.

"Hello, sweetie, where is the bell hop?" The mom asked Devin as she locked the door to the car and put the keys in her cheetah print purse.

"Oh…um, there is a guy inside the hotel wearing a huge hat…just talk to him, you can't miss him." Replied Devin looking at the guy, the guy looking back.

"Well, I am Kristin…Mrs. Farmont, if you will." She said putting her hand over her chest.

"This is my son John, this is my husband… Fillip, Mr. Farmont if you will." She said pointing to each person with her long red nails.

"And this is Oh Dear! Where is Jeffery?" Mrs. Farmont said in a panic and started looking in places where not even the smallest person could ever fit.

"MOM!!! MOM!" they all heard the muffled scream from the car and Mrs.Farmont turned her head to see a guy in the back seat of the car banging on the windows.

"Goodness! I've left him in the car again." She said with a little chuckle while she tapped her head as if she had done it often.

She unlocked the car door and sure enough, Jeffery came out and started walking towards them. He looked mad!

"Heyyyyy Devvy!" said a boy from behind her, it was Wess.

"Heyyyyy retard!" said Devin rolling her eyes.

"Mom! Why did you leave me in the car again!?" cried Jeffery. He looked maybe 10 or 9 Devin felt kind of bad for him because he looked really small and helpless.

"I didn't mean to, sweetie." Mrs.Farmont said hugging him.

"You've gotta come in and eat now." Said Wess interrupting the conversation.

"Oh! Well maybe the Farmonts can join us!" said Devin trying to be polite or just trying to get close to John.

"No, sweetie, we have to get settled in first. And I wouldn't want to impose on your breakfast." Mrs.Farmont said as she started walking toward the door.

"See ya." Said John as he walked passed Devin.
"Tootles!" said Devin blushing again.

"Tootles! What was that!!!?" Thought Devin.

"What was that?" asked Wess as if he could read Devin's mind.

"Nothin" said Devin turning to him.

"Okay, well I'm gonna go inside and eat, and if you don't follow, your mom is gonna be really mad… tootles." Wess replied in a mimicking "cutsie" voice as he turned his back and left Devin. CREAAAAAAKKK. Devin heard a door creak and then, she saw a man coming out of the saloon.

"But I thought the cowboy said no one works there." Thought Devin.

"Devin Kiley Erickson!" Yelled a voice coming from the hotel restaurant. Devin turned around to face the door, and then turned back around to observe the man coming from the saloon again, but he was no where to be found.

"Why does everyone like to disappear all the time here?!" thought Devin as she walked to the restaurant.
