I am surrounded by orange light,
And it makes me happy.
To see the world in a different shade.

Whites and blacks disappear,
Replaced by orange tints.
Colors reveal different feelings.

I push back the curtain,
A ray of white slips in,
Glaring on all it touches.

I pull back the curtain,
Shutting out the white,
And am filled with orange.

Warm, comforting orange,
It wraps around me,
Protecting me.

But I can see the white light,
Behind my orange curtain,
Where it labels all things.
