With a kiss on her head

She fell in a world

Where she was forgiven her debts

She could stay a little girl

With a white picket fence

In a field of green

She gave up her life

For an American Dream

Inside the fence

She was told to stay

A trusting child

She wouldn't disobey

She would never speak out

Against the "truth" she was fed

No clarity would be sought

For the fallacy in her head

Beyond the fence

Outside of her world

Time pressed on

But not for our girl

She stayed as she was

Protected by all

She had already forgotten

That you made her fall
