"Birth Versus Death"

Spring leaves fluttering are a

Recital in the wind,

The pirouettes of hundreds of

Young ballet dancers,

The applause of such numerous

Gracious audience members,

Shaking in satisfaction and rapture.

Autumn leaves fluttering are a

Struggle to survive,

The waving of flags of countries

About to be destroyed,

The shivering of small animals lost

In so vicious a storm,

Shaking convulsively until the end.
