Freedom lines the streets of Montreal.

The people shout "Freedom, freedom!"

The sun shines bright, through the dusty clouds.

The smell of freedom in the air,

There is nothing I want more,

Freedom to live, Freedom to die,

Without a care.

Celebration time, as the school bells ring.

School's done for the summer,

I'm happy to be free.

Freedom lines the streets of Montreal.

The children shout and scream their joy.

Summer has come,

There is no homework left.

The touch of the sun touches me ever so lightly,

All I can do is smile in pure relief,

School is over.

I'm free.

I scream through the heavens;

"SCHOOL'S OUT!"

My laughter rings through the ears of my friends,

As the school bells ring,

I'm finally free.
