We are a world apart, you & I

You'd grab my hand as you ran with the light

I could come with you, you said

You had always found freedom through conformity

And despite the light, it couldn't illuminate my darkness

The shadows held me at freedom's door

I became your sin

.: >:.

Persecuted—my hands held no peace

I am alone, raw, wrong

Tell me you love me so you tell me to change to

Your mainstream love

You had always found freedom through conformity

Locked in this cage, heart torn apart till it's

Ash

Flesh in shreds turned inside out

You & I are a world apart.
