Today, parading in an old sun-hat,
She remembered a poem and came to visit me
It was summer vacation
A time to revisit
Everything still here

Today we came together
To complete last year's puzzle
But we laid on the carpet instead
And fell asleep among the pieces

"It's like that, isn't it?" we said

Everyone's come back
To a warm place

Today was full of quiet music
A melody that made tonight glow
Surely tomorrow there'll be clouds
