Dancing rain waltzing down to the broken earth

On a dark summers eve

Lies I've lead wash away

Through the dust

Through the air

Landing on the rocks for another soul

For they've eaten their fill of me

The sun's rays shine down to the trees

On a bright spring day

Tears I've shed rise up to the clouds

Through the memories

Through the regrets

Only to fall again for another in sorrow

Hopefully not again for something I say

These masks I wear, burn away

Relinquish your hold on my scared face

Let me lay down to rest

Sleeping gently

Waking brutally

Watching the sunrise once again

Hoping that it may finally save me today
