Question of the day: If you're a man and you've fallen in love with another man who looks identical to you and yet isn't your twin brother, what would the name of your relationship be? Incest? Homosexual? Weird even for the times that we live in now? What would you call it? Does it have a name? Can it be named at all?
Name it
"I want to play a game with you..."
"I'm not interested."
"Bet I can make you change your mind..."
"Bet I don't care."
"So moody today, Jared." He smirked as he spoke, snaking his way closer to the young man standing still and unwavering across the room. "Why so tense? So angry?"
"You know damn well enough why," Jared barked at the smirking man, the man that shared his appearance. "Just leave me the hell alone, Jarred."
They were identically in practically every way; the same face, the same height, the same build, the same lips, nose, ears, hair... their only difference came from the darkness of their eyes. Both were dark brown, but Jarred's were a shade of chocolate brown darker than Jared's. The former's voice also had a purr to it that Jared's just wasn't capable of.
"You want me to leave?"
"That's what I just said."
"Fine. But why don't we make a game out of it?" Jarred cooed, eyes smoldering over Jared's stone set face like freshly lit coal. "Hmm? Make it a bit more interesting?"
"Interesting..." Jared snorted at the very idea, "I'm only interested in watching you fade away. For good."
Jarred smirked again, moving to stand directly in front of Jared and catching his eyes with his ever hot gaze. "I know... but I bet you'll miss me once I'm gone."
"Fat chance!"
"Then this is how it will be..." Jarred mused aloud, "I bet in a week's time without me you'll want me back."
"And I bet I wont."
"Very well..." Jarred tilted his head back, "Name the price I will pay should I lose."
"You'll stay away. For good." Jared said with a calm he didn't normally have in Jarred's presence, "Forever."
"Fine. Now may I name the price you will pay to failure?"
"Name it."
Jarred's smirk only grew, "I want a kiss. A kiss from you." He held out his hand, "Do we have an accord?"
Jared swallowed thickly, staring at the hand offered to him as though he were selling his very soul away to the devil. But what did he have to be afraid of? He wouldn't lose...there was no way he would ever wish for Jarred to come back once he was gone. Armed with an all new determination and confidence in himself, Jared lifted his hand to grasp Jarred's.
"Agreed."
