Sweet Jack

Silence in the empty room

Going no where

Just sitting, sitting in the silence

I watch the rain fall

Hard and steady

Never seizing always coming

I watch never knowing

That this was the last I would see

Never knowing the rain would seize

Unaware of the figure behind me

I sigh with that of the innocent

A shadow I see across the floor

And in an instant I stand and turn around

His eyes were not right

They were filled with that of the unwell

Unwell and delusional.

I was not given a second to scream

No moment did I have to run

This was to be my end

The knife was upon me

It entered my flesh

My heart was pierced

Then the world was gone

And darkness swept in

I was simply no more

Fallen to the ground

In the silent empty room

The man was gone

As was I

This my friends is the end

Of dear sweet Jack
