A/N - We were supposed to write a poem about an instant attraction with someone we thought we had a chance with. We were also instructed to be as economic with words as possible.
Eyes open with the door
They fall on you
Lock into your gaze
An earth-shattering blue
Something stirs in the soul of me
Sleeping organs lurch to life
Picking up a sharp staccato
Because you shine much brighter than these lights
And this may be the devil
To lure me in with some sweet sin
But Jesus, you're so beautiful
Temptation's child, where have you been
