Cinderblocks Ground Into Grass

Cinderblocks ground
Into the grass
Ashphalt slain
By a hundred million
Raindrops

Steel becomes corrupted
With the greatest of ease
Rubber burnt
With a torching flame

Water twisted
Frozen, melted
Lead broken
With a loud SNAP!

Iron rusted
A few downpours
Copper dulled
By the lull of time

Wood snapped
Rotted, decayed
Glass shattered
Ropes have been frayed

Plastic melted
Four hundred fifty degrees
Wire discarded
Claimed by the hungry seas

Hearts broken
Constantly
By a girl
And her newfound tease
