Listen to the rain as it runs down the windowpane,

Tiny drops of water turn into miniature streams,

And all those tiny streams become pools of blue dreams,

Feel the rain on your skin as you step out into an afternoon downpour,

Mother Natures tears of bittersweet contentment,

We grow with her help but at the same time we take more than our share,

We take all that she offers for granted,

Or perhaps the rain fills the world with hope as fresh starts fall from the sky,

Gently washing away the old to reveal new beginnings,

A chance for redemption and forgiveness that may save us all.
