and there was a little baby born blue inside you
and it had a name and a birth-date and a life somewhat planned out
and you loved it with all your heart (right?)
your little baby girl
you wanted to name her something beautiful and parade her down the block because
she was yours and no one else could have her
and you don't have a grave for her because once she was found
she was gone
and you feel like the inside of you rots
because you miss her so much
and you want her back
and you need and need and want for all these things
to spit up the ashes and let her come back to you

and I found her in your box full of dreams
buried beneath the sun
and filled to the brim with seeds that never had life seeping through their open veins
