The Day I Died
I'll tell you a story 'bout the day i died,
No-one wept and no-one cried,
No-one put their plans aside,
The thieves in prison, they stayed inside,
Teachers tought and students why'd,
She kept getting it on the side,
The groom he gave himself to the bride,
They still felt shame and they still felt pride,
Look at someone near to you,
On day their dash will be done,
You're nothing in the scheme of things,
All that matters is everyone.
