Dead Lands

Blind by the deep, tempting blackness.

Bound by our own fears unknown.

Hidden away,

Thinking we'll never know.

This perfect society,

I don't know.

We're not together,

Broken down by years of war and thunder.

We look at the oncoming storm as our enemy,

We're our own enemy.

A perfect white land,

Blackened and killed by us.

Every tear that we shed.

Falls slowly to the dust.

Every heart that breaks,

Every turn of fate,

Everyone that cries, everyone will die.

In this perfect society,

A society,

Killed by shadowed hearts.
