When faced with life's hardships, most people are able to cope fairly well. Of course, they'll hurt, and they'll grieve, but eventually they find the strength they need to pick themselves up and make it through the night.
Tyler quickly discovered that he wasn't one of those people.
When faced with despair, he would merely offer himself up to it, finding no motivation to overcome his grief.
After all, when one was as alone as Tyler, how could they possibly find a reason to surmount the darkest of nights?
Then he met Trevor, who not only gave him a reason, but helped him to find the strength within himself.
"I just wanted you to know, you are my sunrise."
a/n: Have a wonderful, and safe, holiday season! Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, and whatever other religious/spiritual event you may be celebrating in the near future.
In other news, I FAIL at college. (sob)
This semester was sheer hell, on a personal and educational level. Oh, yeah.
