Candyland (Abandoned)

Cotton candy tumbleweeds

and sour pop rock dust

Creaking chocolate Ferris wheels

covered in caramelly rust

Candyland, abandoned,

the children were enticed

the sugar forgotten,

the steel now suffice

Candyland, Candyland,

how do you feel?

Those children who loved you

don't think you're very real

Candyland, Candyland,

fading away

Candyland, Candyland,

with your sweet blueberry days

There's creamy chocolate

and strawberry sweet

There's innocent vanilla

and taffy for a treat

But the one flavor, Candyland,

that you lack

is the taste of nostalgia

to make them go back

Candyland, Candyland,

how do you feel?

Those children who loved you

don't think you're very real

Candyland, Candyland,

fading away

Candyland, Candyland,

with your sweet blueberry days...

Don't worry. There are always more children.

But they're so easily corrupted.
