This poem is dedicated to someone very special to me.It was originaly writen in Bulgarian, my native tongue, then translated into Russian, now into English so I apologize if some of the grammer seems a bit... off. I proof read it to the best of my ability.

I knew a person once whom I never understood. At least durring their lifetime. But they had saved me on countless occasions from something, I myself, could not even see. Now looking back on the aniversary of this person's death, I realize things about this person that I could see all along, just did not want to accept. I will be the first in my family to put into words how much of a Saint this person was. He died at the young age of eighteen.

He had a gift that the world was simply was not ready for. And only now am I beginning to seewhat it really was.

They all said they remembered your eyes
They said they remembered the way you looked at things
And at people
And even in that
They could tell you were different

They all said they remembered the colours
Some said the two colours looked at things in two different ways
One blue, one white
And even in that
They could tell you were different

You saw more than they did
Didn't you?
With those beautiful eyes
How else could you look upon everything and smile?

They all said they remembered your voice
Some spoke of the sound as a sun burning somewhere far away
But here it could coax life from the dirt
And even in that
They could you were different

They all said they remembered your smile
They spoke of the way you smiled even in the darkest of times
And in the happiest
And even in that
They could tell you were different

But you knew more than they did
Didn't you?
You were never looking at what they were
Why else would hide what you saw from them?

You could see the hell in heaven
You could hear the suffering in joy
You could feel the torment in the souls around you
And you could speak enough to bring an end to existence

But you didn't

They all said they remembered your eyes
They said they remembered the way you looked at things
And at people
And even in that
They could tell you were different

I told them I remembered too
I told them you were a saint and you knew the truths of this world
They didn't ask nor reply
Because in a way
They all knew too
