Title: Bridget's Fire

Author: Heather P.

The Sun mooned Bridget,
with dirty fingers,
and smoky breath.

Delicious sweet,
The wind blew hair into my eyes,
Smoker lungs,
filled with puss.

Telling my fortunes,
barefoot and laughing.

Why isn't anyone smiling
on this gray day?

Where it true, that
everything could just be new
and lovely again.

A patchwork life,
Drifting with the melodies
of make up ditties,
Taking one moment at a time.

I used to think you were so young,
Sweet lady,
but I was wrong
the make up fooled me

And a bird flew off...
