My Fairy

Fly up to the clouds, my loved one

Sing to the stars for me

Dance until the night is through

Then return home for tea

Twirl into the moonlight

Sway between Earth and Mars

Swing upon the willow vines

But don't forget your home

Dare I let you out again?

To play and laugh and sing

To whistle to the merry birds

In summer, autumn and spring

Or do I keep you to myself?

For I know when winter comes

You'll disappear into a sheet of snow

Never again to wake
