The Last Mission: Quest for the Invincible Weapon
Summery: A long time ago, back when fantasy was reality, seven friends must embark on a mission to save their village from the evil Zorban.
Author's Note: This story is based off of a dream that I had a long time ago. You'll like it. My dreams have always been interesting.
Prologue
There are many stories out there. Stories that tell of wondrous fantasies filled with knights, dragons, princesses and kingdoms in peril. But the story that I'm telling you today is not like those other stories.
There were once seven people who were the best of friends; Sarah, Kelsey, Lindsay, Merrilee, Sean, Eddie and Andrew. This is their story……

Hundreds of years ago, in a place that no longer exists, there was a village called Creanaem. For years, the inhabitants of this village lived in peace, until one day when they got news that a man, called Zorban, and his unbeatable army were taking over the world, little by little, and he was on his way to their village.
The people of Creanaem were terrified, and began to panic. Some packed up, and moved away to safer places, but others were intent on making sure that no one ruined their village. After a meeting, the people decided that they were going to do everything that they could to save Creanaem.
There was much debate over what they were going to do, but finally, they decided to send a small team, of able people, to find the legendary Invincible Weapon. No one knew what it really was, but, according to the legend, there was a weapon that made whoever had it invincible. If they had such a weapon, Zorban wouldn't have a chance.
Once this was established, the people began arguing, once again, about who was going to be sent to complete such a dangerous mission. After all, one must be able to endure weeks of traveling through hostile lands to find the Invincible Weapon. This meant that the people they sent must be young, and strong.
This is where the seven friends come in the story. They were all young, between the ages of sixteen and nineteen. Perfect for the mission. So they were called in, and asked to go for the village to find this legend of a weapon.
Sean was the unofficial leader of the group. Being nineteen, he was the oldest, and he always automatically took charge of any and every situation. Everyone thought of him as the bravest, and the others in the group always looked up to him.
Eddie was a few months younger than Sean, and was always referred to as the thinker. He didn't like to just run into any situation, like Sean did, and hope for the best. Eddie analyzed every aspect before doing anything. But he had a great personallity and a wonderful sense of humor which made him a very fun person to be around. Everyone noticed that whenever he walked into a room, that room would instantly get noisy, and everyone would get very entergetic, and then, when he left the room, it would quiet down.
Sarah was also nineteen. She was probably the most girly person in the group. She'd talk about boys, she liked getting new dresses, and Sarah was also known as the 'fraidy cat' of the group.
Merrilee and Andrew were right behind the others. Both were eighteen, and they were also just average teenagers. But that was where the similarities ceased. Merrilee liked looking on the bright side of the situation, and she didn't get scared that easily... unless you quietly sneak up on her and squeese her waist... but that's another story.
Andrew, on the other hand, was just totally nutty. He looked on the negative, and he was overly frightened about everything, and yet, everyone liked him.
Kelsey was seventeen, and she was probably thought of as the cleaver one. She knew the mathematics of everything, and she was never one for liking boys. That was unfortunate for lots of guys in the village, because she was very beautiful.
And now at last, we come to Lindsay. She was the youngest of the group, and she never liked that. But she tried to make up for her age by trying to be like Sean, since Sean was so brave, and all that good stuff... however, if you asked her what was most important in life, she wouldn't hesitate to say that it was food.
So in walks these seven unique friends, to be briefed on their mission. As you can tell, the accepted the mission, and were now listening to what they would have to do with vast interest. Sean, Lindsay, and Kelsey were very excited. Sarah hesitated, knowing that this was going to be dangerous, and there were probablly no places to go shopping. Andrew was freaking out. He wanted nothing to do with the mission, but he didn't want to get left behind either. Eddie didn't really care, and the only reason he was going was because his brothers were beginning to drive him nuts. He listened to everything about the mission, trying to get it all down so he could remember it.
Merrilee kept her cool, but on the inside, she was bursting with excitement. At last, they had a chance to become heroes just as they'd always talked about! They were going to see new places that no one on earth had ever seen before!
After being briefed on the mission, and verifying that they were indeed going, the entire village helped them get ready for their long journey. Everyone was worried that the seven young people wouldn't make it back alive. But they were determined to go.
Finally, on the morning of their departure, everyone was there to wish them luck and see them off. They stood their watching until the seven young people could no longer be seen.
It was a long, hard, dangerous journey that they were embarking on. Filled with unknown lands, and creatures never before seen. Hopefully they would make it back in time with the Invincible Weapon.
