The sun sets the same way
When you're here and when you're gone
My heart beats the same way
Whether this is right or this is wrong

You've lingered a little longer
From longer to too long
The youth of us is dying
Dying to be gone

Our skies run parallel
Together we're withdrawn
It seems to be "forever"
Never encompasses "lifelong"

So I'll take up my pen
And write our own life's song
The youth of us is dying
Dying to be gone

A/N: gasp It rhymes...sort of. Yeah, so it's not done yet; I think I'm going to change a bit of wording. This is the first rhyming poem I've written in a long time, so be honest, but please be nice about my lack of rhyming ability!
