Paperclips give me the creeps. They really do, and I really don't know why. Actually, that's a lie. I do know why.
Paperclips remind me of people. Each one is a little different, some are a little shorter then the others, and some a little taller. Some are fat, some are skinny, some are shiny, and some are rather dull. They're different colours, and some are even striped. Those ones remind me of zebras, not people, but that's not the point. They're all different, just like people.
And paperclips, paperclips are flexible. They can be puppets, bending to the will of bender, twisting and turning, until they are sick inside; just like people. Or, they can be stubborn, and decide not to bend, and seriously piss of the bender, until that person decides to throw it out and forget about it.
And some paperclips are pretty sharp. They can cut you and make you bleed. Hurt you, and make you cry. All because they're sharp, just like people are.
Paperclips, also, can hold things together. It can hold your papers together, but be careful, it may break, and there goes you things. In a case of a person, they can hold you heart together, but if they crack, your heart is forever smashed, gone.
Paperclips, yes, I have decided, are a lot like people.
