Nothing Thanksgiving

I have no sad poems for this past Thanksgiving
Because it was not sad
But neither was it happy
That day has been nothing in terms of Thanksgiving at all
But it's neighbors have
Beautiful things come and pass
Too many faces I wont ever see again
Stranger accordingly but worth this stress
Taking it easy for once, and
I wont let it be drowned away in the face of cruel unnamed days
Stuck up waiting behind the glass
Though it's nice to be away, and
Beside such good company

I wish I'd built a snowman just once in my life
