The Seaman's Wish
The current pulls me far away,
But to our love, stay true.
And though the moon doth wax and wane
still to our love, stay true.
And through the yearnings of my heart
No sea can keep our love apart.
All tempests quelled at lovers touch
For none have felt nor loved too much
And should our hearts stay true,
As lovers often do
Then we will see by heaven's glow
That love shall not diminish,
