Judges 16:1-31
Willow-weed girls cling weeping together,
with pierrot-painted eyes
and sad drawn on mouths.
For their Samson-son boys ran off with Delilahs
leaving their willow-weeds
to wilt in the hot summer heat.
And the Delilahs made off
in their pine-scented cars:
to cuddle and coddle and cuckold and run,
leaving the newly coifed Samsons
world wearily and stoned.
And no one in Gaza founded love in the rubble.
