& baby, you talk in your sleep.
You talk in your sleep & it's the most I ever hear you say. Secrets spill from your dry, cracked lips, & I catch them all in little jars, hidden under the bed.
You say so much…that's how I learned you loved me-you'd never say it to my face. But you talk so quietly…I had to lean in very close, my ear to those lips of yours, just to hear it.
& baby, I melted.
A/N: I'm really not sure how I fell about this particular piece…it's after a weekend of not writing at all, so I guess it's maybe a little bit substantial? x
