Shifting Gravel

Times are used up and I'm overthrown
Stuck inside a void that I do not know
Casting across the blame, endless and in vain
Such catalytic turning, an embodiment of my ever revolving self
Such a fictitious realism I'm bound, and beyond no doubts
Broken ball point and tip, dried-out, used up
Melody of everything before and everything beyond
A shifting sort of gravel beneath bare feet
Time is slipping fast, repetitive and chaining down
Wavering on the edge with numb memory
Sow into me, an intertwining of I, all that should not be left behind
Trudging, barefooted, through these puddles, gravel shifting
No matter how I try, there's no getting a grip on this life
