Seven Years Later

A young girl stood at a grave. She was about twenty and she was crying. It was Kern. The grave read:

In loving memory of

Tamesis Rogers

October 3, 1990-

June 27, 2006

A young man came up to her. "Go away," she said.

"No," he told her. He put his arm on her shoulder.

She turned and looked at him, "Tamesis was a long time ago, he's all in the past, you don't need to worry about it."

"Yes I do, we're getting married next month. If it's bothering you then it's bothering me, Kern, I love you, tell me what's wrong," he smiled and played with her hair.

"It's about another guy, your not allowed to comfort me about another guy," she told him.

"So you loved Tamesis, his death made you go insane for a while, you tried to kill and yourself and you remember any of it, except for his death which replays in her head everytime you close your eyes...I should be bothered by this?"

"Yeah, Theo, I'm crying right now, and about another guy," more tears spilled from Kern's eyes.

"A boy that was part of you past, look, Kern, I don't want you to pretend you didn't have a past, I just want you to let me hold you when your feeling down, I don't expect you to forget about your past, about Tamesis, I just want to hold you, that's all I ask for. Will you let me?"

"Okay," the two kissed, "Hey, Theo."

"Yeah?" he asked. He looked at her with his great big brown eyes that she fell in love with. She touched his dark skinned hands with her light pale ones, "I love you," she said, and the two kissed. Theo was Kern's second love ever and she believed that Tamesis was her angel. Before Tamesis she couldn't love, and she felt like no one could love her. But many years later she was engaged to a great guy that loved her with all his heart and she loved him back. Yes, Tamesis was her angel, he was a very dark and morbid angel, but none the less, her angel.

AN: I just want to make a couple things clears, and very critial reader pointed out a few things that didn't make sence. The principal, who looked twentyfive, only looked twentyfive, that doesn't mean she was, she jsut looks really young.

Kern never regained any memory because she basiclly lost her mind during that point in her life, she had no idea what she was doing. I didn't write much about her time in the mental hospital becasue it wasn't a big part of the story, there would be no point in telling what it was like, the point of the story was love can change us, good or bad.

Now, the reason Tamesis was shot was a very good one, but I'm not going to tell you it. If you want to find out your just going have to read the prequel where Tamesis reveals his past to Kern.

Now, I would just like to thank blackflame28 for pointing out these complacations, thank you, it's people like you that help writers grow with their writing.
