Two teens sat on the floor of a girl's bedroom. The walls of the room were a dark purple and the sheets on the bed were black. The curtains, a dark red, covered the window and stopped any light from entering the room. The teens had names, Tamesis and Kern.

Above where the two sat where a picture of the two, they were smiling, it was hard to believe that anyone that was as dark as those two could be so happy.

They sat on the floor and if you were too look at the two it would look like a pretty sad picture. Tamesis was so upset and Kern could tell. He was upset but wouldn't talk about it.

"Tamesis, what's wrong?" she asked him

"Nothing," he faked smile and kissed her, "I love you."

"I love you too, but I'm your girlfriend and you should tell me when something's bothering you," she wrapped her arms around him, "What's wrong?"

"It's all in the past, nothing for you to worry about."

"If it's bothering you then it is something for me to worry about, Tamesis, I love you, I want to be here for you no matter what," she kissed him.

"Kern, you'll just end up thinking I'm a freak and break up with me, it's all in the past, it doesn't matter."

"Yes it does, it's bothering you, so it must matter, and if it's all in the past it's nothing for me to worry about, Tamesis, I love you, tell me what's bothering you," she held him tight and he stared at her beautiful green eyes. He knew he could trust her, he could trust her with his life, and she could know his dark secret, it was himself he was unsure, who couldn't hand the past.

But Kern looked so concerned, "The story starts off with my mother being a total bitch, like aways…"
