Her Poems

Every poem shows the damage he's done,
Every stanza screams his name,
Every tear from every line,
Puts those baby blue eyes to shame.

And when she's at her weakest,
She clings to her paper and pen.
She writes down what she's feeling,
She tries to remember when…

When everything seemed perfect,
When he was world her world,
When everything was meant to be,
When she was his dream girl.

And now that he's gone,
Her heart grows cold.
The memories fade,
The stories get old.

She's a hopeless case of suicide,
And every answer points to you.
Every poem shows the damage he's done,
Hoping to start anew.
