A/N- Again, this was originally a Prince of Tennis drabble but I decided to change the names and put my own creations in it. But you can still tell who's who if you've read Prince of Tennis. Hope you enjoy.
"Look! Look! A shooting star!" Akikaki Hiyori exclaimed, jumping up and down as she stared up at the night sky. Fujikara Hitsuyu sighed in a rather dignified way and briefly wondered why he was out here again.
"Neh, Fujikara, we're suppose to be star-gazing, not staring at our girlfriends." the smooth, deep voice that belonged to the popular boy in school said from next to him.
Oh, that's right. Hiyori and Ryuken had heard that there would be a meteor shower tonight and had invited the team to go star-gazing. They were watching it in the yard of Hitsuyu's home, having been told that his yard would be the perfect place to watch it from. Unfortunately, the meteor shower didn't start until at nine o'clock and there was only half an hour left before that time.
"She's not my girlfriend, Kurosaki." the rich boy said, sending a quick glare at him.
Kurosaki Kenta gave a smirk and began heading to where a red-haired girl was. "Of course not, Fujikara."
Hitsuyu crossed his arms and leaned against the wall of his home, tilting his head up to look at the stars. He didn't get what was so special about them. There were hundreds of them in the sky.
He then felt someone pulling on his sleeve and he looked down to see Hiyori who was doing it excitedly. Once the girl was excited about something, she never seems to run out of energy, Hitsuyu noted. She hadn't stayed still in one place for too long the entire time.
Once Hiyori realized she had her friend's attention, she gave a big smile at him. "Neh, neh, Hitsuyu! Aren't you excited? It isn't often we get to see a meteor shower. It's so cool, isn't it?"
Hitsuyu couldn't help but give back a fond smile. There was something about the other girl which made him do things he wouldn't do to others. "Ah, but it's not as cool as I, ne?"
Hiyori smiled and giggled. Ayane snorted a few feet away but Hitsuyu ignored her. He'll deal with her later.
Hitsuyu looked back at the stars before noticing the streams of lights flying across the sky. Giving a glance at the smaller girl beside him, he ruffled her hair before going back to watching the meteor shower.
He didn't fuss or complain when the other girl was leaning against him and had her arms wrapped around his own.
