But you never saw thru
Now I'm alone
Looking for you
The lost soul
No one knows

I once was an angel
But now that all gone
Now I'm the devil
That everyone knows
I hide in the shadows
All alone
Thinking of the happiness
Everyone knows
That is everyone but me

Loneliness is lurking around
Searching for me
To put one foot down
And thunder over me
The friends I once knew
Seem to split in two
The future I once knew
Seems to turn a lonely shade of grey

Thunder clouds
Now come my way
Everyone I knew
Seem to fade away
& die in pain
But I only cry in vain

Those once happy eyes
Now only see pain
To everyone who passes me by
I say good bye

At times I wonder
Would this world be better?
If no one knew
The name shadow

Coz that's all I am
A lonely shadow
I hide where humans fear to tread
Coz it's the only thing
That hides these cold blue eyes

People pass me by
But never notice
The sadness in my eyes

Sometimes I wonder
If I'm really there
Or a I'm just a lonely lost ghost
I've lost my place
In this hateful place

All I want is a little adventure
Where swords clash
And lightning strikes
Where you have to fight to survive

But who am I kidding
It just a childish fantasy
Of a long lost child
So far from home
Sick of this boring world

Well now I have to go
To find my place
In a fantasy world
Never to return
To this morbid world

But the only way out
Is to slit my wrists
Watch the crimson rain
Slowly pore down

As I pull away
From this distant land
Once again
The angel returns

The angel

Can finally come home
Back to the place
Where she belongs

That she can call home
But will she ever be free
Of the loneliness
